Complete Beta Testing
As of now, we have a completed prototype for LockUp and are working with professionals to test its features.
LockUp allows for truly private precision medicine and anonymous prescription delivery in a fully remote environment using zero-knowledge-proofs and blockchain.
LockUp uses cutting edge technology including zero-knowledge-proofs, interpretable artificial intelligence, and blockchain to keep you safe while receiving treated.
Zero-knowledge-proofs are a cryptographic technique allowing one party to demonstrate the truth of a statement to another without revealing any additional information. This is accomplished through complex mathematical algorithms and protocols that create a private and verifiable proof, usually through an interactive proof session where the prover only reveals essential information. The mathematical foundation is based on number theory and abstract algebra, with the most common type being the interactive proof system. This system utilizes trapdoor one-way functions to generate a proof of correct computation, such as using modular exponentiation to demonstrate knowledge of the discrete logarithm of a value without revealing the value itself.
In precision medicine, Neural Additive Models (NAMs) are useful for modeling complex relationships in clinical data by decomposing the function into simpler functions represented by neural networks. They are composed of several experts specialized in learning specific input-output mapping, which allows for interpretability, generalization and faster training. NAMs have been applied in various fields in precision medicine, such as drug response prediction, disease risk prediction and patient subtype identification, and is powerful in modeling non-linear and high-dimensional genomic and clinical data.
Blockchain technology is a decentralized ledger system that allows for secure and transparent storage and transfer of digital assets using advanced cryptographic techniques. In the field of mental health, it has the potential to revolutionize data collection, storage and sharing by enabling secure and transparent storage of mental health data in a decentralized manner, giving patients greater control and ownership over their personal data, allowing them to share it with researchers, healthcare providers and other relevant parties in a secure and controlled way, contributing to the advancement of mental health research and care.
zk-SNARKs (Zero-Knowledge Succinct Non-Interactive Argument of Knowledge) are a type of zero-knowledge proof that allows for the verification of the correctness of a computation without revealing any information about the inputs or the computation itself. They are composed of two algorithms: a generator and a verifier. They use advanced mathematical concepts such as elliptic curve cryptography and polynomial commitment schemes, and are highly efficient and scalable, making them suitable for private and confidential transactions in blockchain, privacy-preserving data analysis, and other applications.
Every single member of LockUp's founding team has extensive experience with research, development, and entrepreneurship, but each of our individual strengths allow us to form one cohesive and well rounded team. Scroll over us to read more.
We have done research at institutions including:
LockUp offers our services to both consumers and healthcare companies, putting us at a level higher than many of our competitors.
Achieving market success is a two-fold endeavor, we need to consider possessing a superior product and effectively positioning it in the market. Our team is confident in LockUp’s ability to elevate to new heights and establish a unique niche in the market, effectively giving millions access to precision medicine while safeguarding their privacy. This is how we plan to do so.
As of now, we have a completed prototype for LockUp and are working with professionals to test its features.
We plan to use our advisors connections at Mayo Clinic and VCU to set up a testing point at 2 mental health clinics, who will be given access to LockUp for free.
We will document and publicize test results using our novel encryption process from clinics and submit them to prestigious journals like Nature Digital Medicine to boost our startup's success. We will also attend relevant industry conferences like Precision Medicine World Conference to build connections.
At this point, we will have the results to raise a series A funding round. We positioned this round at the end of the year since it has been shown that this is when VCs are most likely to invest.
Most of our series A funding will be put towards advertising towards markets that are most impacted by mental health, including the teen community.
Finally, we deploy our product to the public.
